My new favourite phone case hack: one clear case and stickers for infinite customization

Full credit to my brilliant wife Jade for this one! She started this hack and got me on board, and now I want to share it with you.

Ever wanted to customize the outside of your smartphone to fit your mood? Well, a simple clear case and a bundle of stickers (or any other 2D thing) can make it happen. The process is pretty simple too: just pick some things to put in your phone case, arrange them how you want, then put on the case to lock the collage in.

We’ve been using stickers for this ourselves, though we don’t peel and stick them so that we can reuse them as we please. However, anything 2D could work, like photos or art or ticket stubs. Jade bought a bundle of some 300 meme stickers, which make for hilarious combinations, but really the options are endless.

The only other thing you need is a case you can see through. We both went with clear cases, but anything translucent could work too.

Jade started doing this after upgrading her phone as her old collection of cases no longer fit. But rather than buy a bunch more cases, she picked up a clear case and the stickers to decorate it. And she liked it so much, she started doing it on her Kobo too. And then I was jealous of her sick Kobo, so I grabbed a cheap clear case for my Pixel 9 and decorated it as well.

And now whenever one of us wants to change things up, we can just swap out our stickers rather than buy a new case.
