There hasn’t been a new Windows Phone released for a number of years and now Microsoft has announced that it’s retiring the Windows Phone version of Skype for Business, Yammer and Microsoft Teams.
Starting on May 20th the three apps will reach retirement, but that means something different for each application.
All three apps will be removed from the Microsoft store on the 20th. Skype and Yammer will cease to receive updates and Microsoft teams will stop working completely.
That said, Yammer can still be accessed through a web browser on Windows phones.
Microsoft is still pledging to support these apps across iOS, Android, Windows PC and macOS.
