Three Motorola listings on the Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) radio equipment search database seem to suggest that the Lenovo-owned smartphone manufacturer has plans on releasing three new devices in Canada.
If users search for ‘XT1-921-1,’ ‘XT1925-6’ and ‘XT1929-4,’ the database will return listings from Motorola Mobility LLC for the Moto E5 Play, the Moto G6 and the Moto Z3 Play, respectively.
These all seem to be natural successors to the Moto E4, the Moto G6 and the Moto Z2 Play — last year’s Motorola smartphones that were also released in Canada.
Rumours have been swirling about the release of the Moto G6, G6 Play and G6 Plus since earlier this month and an invitation has revealed that Motorola plans on revealing its next smartphone on April 19th, 2018.
MobileSyrup has reached out to Motorola for comment, and this story will be updated with a response.
