Though we didn’t have a Samsung Galaxy A8 last year, Samsung is developing a new addition to the line, according to a leak from GizChina.
A recent report reveals several images of the front panel of the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018). The pictures suggest thin bezels, with a dual-selfie camera setup, like what’s seen in the Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie.
Moreover the frame reveals the Galaxy A8 (2018) doesn’t have a curved display, unlike the thin Galaxy S8. The Samsung frame also looks to have a 18:9 aspect ratio, with no front facing buttons like other Samsung flagships.
Samsung is working on quite a wide range of Samsung A series smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) and the Galaxy A7 (2018) also recently received Wi-Fi and FCC certification. Rumours of the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) showed a thin-bezel display and a below-camera rear-facing fingerprint sensor. Reports also suggest that the A5 (2018) will feature a 5.5-inch full HD+ display, with a Exynos 7885 chipset and 4GB of RAM.
It’s likely we’ll see the A series of smartphones debut at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in early January 2018.
