Rogers recently announced the launch of Social Media Security for its small business customers, a cloud solution that protects business social media accounts.
“To make sure that Twitter keeps its live, dynamic and connected experience, we have prioritized safety. Introducing the Trust and Safety Council was a big step, but part of making sure that users and businesses feel safe comes down to protecting against cyber threats. It’s good to see Rogers introduce a solution that will allow Canadian businesses to engage securely on their social platforms,” said Rory Capern, managing director of Twitter Canada, in a statement.
By using this service, Rogers enterprise customers will get real-time alerts from a dedicated monitoring team so they can take action against threats such as customer scams, piracy and account takeovers.
In addition, sensitive content can be taken down from social websites much faster than if the customer were to try and resolve the issue on their own. Lastly, enterprise customers have access to all the security data collected by Rogers security risk analysts.
