Microsoft has announced user-created game tournaments on Xbox Live, for both Xbox One consoles and Windows 10 PCs, coming this spring. The new feature is called “Arena.”
Users will be able to create and customize tournaments for their friends and invite friends to participate. Microsoft demonstrated the feature with Killer Instinct, a free-to-play remake of the mid 90s class originally released back in 2013, suggesting the feature will work both with existing games as well as future titles.
