Microsoft has gone live with pre-orders of its upcoming Windows 10 Mobile smartphones, the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL.
Both smartphones ship unlocked directly from Microsoft. The Lumia 950 retails for $749 CAD, while the Lumia 950 XL is $100 more, at $849, and comes with a free Display Dock accessory. Both devices begin shipping on Wednesday, November 25th.
The Lumia 950XL has a 5.7-inch 2,560 x 1,440 pixel OLED display, an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, a 20-megapixel PureView rear-facing camera with 4K video capture, a 5MP front-facing camera, a 3,340mAh replaceable battery, Qi wireless charging support, and a USB Type-C port.
Update: Looks like the Lumia 950 XL is in demand as Microsoft is now showing the Windows 10 Mobile phone “ships by December 11.”
