Pebble has launched third-party developer support for voice dictation to the Pebble Time, Pebble Time Steel and upcoming Time Round.
The feature has been added through a new set of development tools, allowing third-party Pebble developers to integrate dictation directly into their apps. The feature launches today on the Pebble Time and Pebble Time Steel, and will be added to the Time Round on November 8.
The Time already features limited voice control capabilities, but it looks like this new development kit will allow for more extensive voice support. Whether or not voice dictation actually ends up being integrated into Pebble’s app eco-system with be dependant on if third-party developers add it to their applications.
