CloudPlayer, the Android music app that allows users to create their own streaming service by downloading and playing music from a linked Dropbox, OneDrive and Google Drive account, has been updated to include support for Android Wear and Android Auto.
DoubleTwist, the app’s Austin, Texas-based developer, says its fully integrating CloudPlayer with these standards, meaning that if your smartphone is tethered to an Android Wear smartwatch or to a vehicle dash with Android Auto built-in, you can use the the app to stream music that’s stored both locally on your smartphone, and on any of the cloud storage services DoubleTwist supports.
This update also makes the app compatible with Qualcomm’s AllPlay speaker standard, making CloudPlayer the only Android music app that supports Chromecast, AirPlay and AllPlay out of the box, according to its developer.
Download Cloudplayer from the Google Play Store.
