The iPad and iPhone version of Adobe’s popular batch photo editing software, Lightroom, is now completely free.
The iOS iteration of Lightroom has always offered a time-sensitive free trial unless the user also had an expensive desktop Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, but that’s no longer the case – Lightroom for iOS is now totally free.
Adobe is likely adopting this strategy to get users hooked on the mobile version of Lightroom, encouraging them to fork over large amounts of money for a Creative Cloud subscription.
