BBM beta for Android was recently redesigned and updated to include a Private Chat feature, and it seems iOS users have now been graced with the same option.
In the latest update to BBM for iOS beta, now at version 290.100.0.14, BlackBerry has given users the ability to discreetly send private messages between one another. This also brings added security to BBM as each Private Chat is automatically deleted once the conversation is closed.
If you’re part of the Beta Zone then you should have been invited to test out these new features. There is no indication from BlackBerry as to when the update will rollout to all iOS users.
