A poster appeared at the Barcelona-El Prat Airport yesterday hinting that is Huawei set to unveil an Android Wear-powered smartwatch. The ad hinted the watch will be aimed at the premium market, and now two videos show the “Huawei Watch” in all its glory.
The Huawei Watch continues the trend moving smartwatches towards the luxury segment. According to the videos, the Huawei Watch is perfect for dogsledding. and is crafted of stainless steel, with a sapphire display and a stainless steel body. While this seems to be similar to the Moto 360, the main difference is that Huawei took advantage of the entire display. The Watch will be available in silver, gold and black, featuring a heart rate monitor that will help track fitness progress.
There are no other specs listed, such as the battery size, but Huawei notes it will sell replacement watch straps.
