iPhone 5s review

Rogers rolled out its “Rogers First Rewards” loyalty program across Canada a few weeks go. This gave customers the ability to earn points for each of the Rogers services they pay for, which are ultimately redeemable for various other Rogers products.

Effective today, just in time for the busy holiday rush, customers can use their Rogers First Rewards points for wireless hardware upgrades. 500 points will give $5 off; 1,000 points is $10 off; and 2,000 points will garner you $20 off your hardware upgrade cost.

For a refresher on the point breakdown, it looks like this:

  • Spend $70/month will be placed in the Silver tier, and will earn 1 point per $1 spent;
  • Spend between $70 and $199/month will be placed in the Gold tier, and will earn 1.5 points per $1 spent; and
  • Spend $200 or more per month will be placed in the Platinum tier, and will earn 2 points per $1 spent.
