A new Android has arrived at Public Mobile and it could be their last.
The 5-inch ‘Elevation’ resembles a Galaxy Nexus or the Nexus S and is priced at a respectable $249 outright. The Elevation runs Android OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (will probably never see an update), comes with Public’s unlimited Siren Music service, plus sports a 5MP camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera.
Pending the approval from the Competition Bureau, Public Mobile will be absorbed by TELUS in the coming weeks. So to those who purchase this, or any other phone, will eventually be transitioned onto TELUS’ HSPA+ or LTE network.
