IM+ 6.2 released for Android with new look and features

The popular multi-platform instant messenger IM+ has received a pretty sizeable update to version 6.2 on Android. As we told you with the free beta, there have been numerous aesthetic changes to the app, including a default Dark Theme that helps save battery life.

You can now also favourite your best contacts for easy reference, and the Skype integration has been improved with the ability to call a user from directly in the app.

One of the best features in version 6.2 is the option to import existing accounts that are already in the Android Settings; if you already have  separate Google, Facebook, and Skype accounts logged in, you won’t need to do it again in IM+.

The update is free for existing users of either the ad-supported or Pro version.
