I juggle a lot of To-Do list managers, trying to see if one is right for me, better suited to my rather disjointed workflow. Not only am I a forgetful person, but if I don’t write something down almost immediately after thinking it I lose it to the ether.
Producteev, since the release of its OS X app last year, has been my go-to simple task manager, since it syncs with its iOS and web apps, and has a clean and intuitive interface. Today the company is revamping its mobile offerings by introducing an Android app and updating its iOS and web presence.
The Android app is admittedly a public beta, so you won’t find the same functionality as you will in its final form, but it’s definitely usable. The only features really lacking are a widget and push notifications, which are both coming soon. The interface, thankfully, has no hidden menus and allows for setting due dates, reminders, notes and, for collaboration, sharing amongst friends and colleagues in shared workspaces.
The iOS app is also being updated with support for retina display graphics and much of the same UI overhaul as the Android app. It has not been approved yet by Apple but should be in the coming hours.
Producteev has also released a Windows desktop app and an updated web interface.
