Whenever a new software version is released in the BlackBerry Beta Zone, it’s usually only several weeks until it becomes publicly available. The App World 3.1 update is one such iteration, bringing nice features such as WiFi support and content ratings to the newly-designed app portal.
The new changes include improved sharing support, and are as follows:
Gifting/Wishlist – you can now pay for, or ask for, an app on behalf of someone else
Content Rating – filter content based on All (18+), Mature (17+), or Teen (13+)
WiFi Only Support – allows app downloads over WiFi
New Language Support – Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Thai, Indonesian, Vietnamese, and Dutch
