Our friends over in the UK have received some solid news this morning about the Samsung Galaxy S II. On Twitter, Samsung UK has confirmed that “the Galaxy S II will be receiving ICS, but there are no dates confirmed as yet”… this is certainly something us Canadians expected and wanted to hear and we’ve reached out to Samsung Canada for confirmation of when our Galaxy S II devices will get upgraded Android 4.0. Bell, Virgin and SaskTel have the Galaxy S II, Rogers has the Galaxy S II LTE and TELUS has the Galaxy S II X… so there will be many eager Canadians waiting for this upgrade. Hopefully it’s coming soon.
