Rogers let Canadians know that they will releasing the LTE Samsung Galaxy S II. The people who will benefit most from this Android device are those located in the Rogers LTE coverage map. This packs some serious power under the hood, 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 1GB RAM, a 4.5-inch display and runs Android OS 2.3. There are a couple pieces missing from this launch, first a clear availability date and a price point. Customers have been able to reserve this device for about a month now, we’re hearing the launch will be in November (unconfirmed), for sure “in the coming weeks”. Regarding a price, it’s now listed for the following: $199.99 with a 3-year contract and $649.99 no-contract.
