OS version 1.0.5.2342 for the BlackBerry PlayBook is now available, if you haven’t seen it pop up yet click the “Check for updates” section and it’ll be there for you. This update fixes a Flash vulnerability and Adobe stated on their site that “this universal cross-site scripting vulnerability could be used to take actions on a user’s behalf on any website or webmail provider, if the user visits a malicious website. Good news for PlayBook owners as RIM noted there are currently “no known reports of any BlackBerry PlayBook users being affected by the Adobe Flash issue”.
