TELUS extends free long distance calling to Japan until April 30th

TELUS has just sent us a note that they are extending the free long distance calling to Japan until the end of April. In total to date customers have made over 40,000 calls.

“TELUS has decided to extend its free long distance calls to Japan until the end of April. Our customers have already made nearly 40 000 free calls to Japan since we introduced our free calling initiative earlier in March. TELUS wireless customers can also continue to be part of the relief effort by donation funds to key relief agencies ( Text “QUAKE” to 45678 to donate $10 to The Salvation Army in Canada, and “ASIA” to 30333 to donate $5 to The Canadian Red Cross Society).”
