SaskTel has expanded their new 4G network into 12 new areas. They are listed below and the complete “4G” roll out is expected to be competed by the end of 2011 it will be available to 98% of Saskatchewan’s population.
– Cumberland House: provides coverage to the village of Cumberland House and the surrounding area.
– Denare Beach and Deschambault Lake: provide coverage to the village of Denare Beach and the surrounding area as well as the community of Deschambault Lake.
– Moose Jaw CFB: provides improved coverage to CFB Moose Jaw.
– Naicam: provides coverage to the town of Naicam and the surrounding area including highways 6 and 349.
– Nipawin: provides coverage to the town of Nipawin and the surrounding area including highways 35 and 55.
– Norquay: provides coverage to the town of Norquay and the surrounding area including highways 8 and 49.
– Ogema: provides improved in-building coverage to the town of Ogema.
– Pelican Narrows and Sandy Bay: provide coverage to the villages of Pelican Narrows and Sandy Bay as well as some coverage along Highway 135 between the two communities.
– Quill Lake: provides coverage to the village of Quill Lake and the surrounding area including highway 5 between Wadena and Watson.
– Regina Beach: provides coverage to the town of Regina Beach and the surrounding area.
