Graham Kingma, Head of Call Centre Operations at Wind Mobile posted some good news regarding WIND. He stated on the company blog they’ve continued building out their network to provide better coverage in their service locations (Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa). Specifically in the GTA they added over 70 new sites and expanding to Markham and Aurora this week.
In addition, they have also announced that “international roaming is now available in more than 200 countries and territories for Pay After customers” (Pay Before will be in a few weeks). Roaming is broken into several Zones:
Zone #1: USA
Zone #2: Americas (except USA & Cuba)
Zone #3a: Europe (Within EU)
Zone #3b: Europe (Outside the EU)
Zone #4: Rest of the World
Zone #5: Off-Shore, Sat., Non-terrestrial
