Toronto-based “Fonolo” has been named one of Time.com’s “50 Best Websites 2009”. From reading it over they came in number 48. “Fonolo” helps you avoid those touch-tone menus such as “Press 1 for English”, “Press 8 for Customer Service” etc… They call their service “Deep Dialing” and helps you navigate visually through those much hated menus.
Other websites mentioned by TIME are Amazon, Facebook, OpenTable, Flickr. Fonolo CTO Jason Bigue “We are thrilled to be recognized by Time.com, one of the most recognizable names in news. Time’s 50 Best Websites is an important ranking and being included on this list alongside some of the most recognizable and prestigious sites on the Internet is truly an honor.”
