I know personally my patience are running thin for the BlackBerry Storm to arrive in Canada – the device simply looks amazing and heard great reviews all around.
Looking at the pics from the L.A launch party of the Storm with all the celebs in attendance: Carmen Electra, Dr. Dre, Mario Lopez, Stacy Keibler, Seth Green, Josh Duhamel etc, etc, etc… not to mention performances by the Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stoneage. Can Canada even compete?
Thanks to special “kjb_ninja” who was relaxing at a Telus event last night made it possible for all to be prepared for a Telus event called the “Storm Rock Tour” (website is RockTheBlackBerryStorm.com).
There are 4 locations involved where the tour “will touch down”:
Toronto: Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008 at the Guvernment Nightclub (6pm – 9pm).
Montreal: Thursday, December 4th, 2008 at Club 1234 (6pm – 8pm)
Vancouver: Tuesday, December 9th at Caprice Nightclub (6pm – 8pm)
Calgary: Thursday, December 11th, Scratch Rock & Roll Lounge (6pm – 8pm)
The Toronto location is 3 hours and at the Guvernment which is a classic venue for any band to play in. I say, bring anyone but Brian Adams, Celine Anne Murray or Rita McNeil. Let’s see who you got coming for us Telus… make us Canadians proud!
