LIPSO tests Mobile check-in at Aéroports de Montréal

LIPSO is partnering with Air Canada and Aéroports de Montréal to use their bar-code mobile check-in system technology. The test is lasting for 6 weeks.

“You can receive your boarding pass (on the mobile device) in encrypted fashion, so it’s secure… When you get to the airport, you simply pass it in front of a scanner and you get your departure gate.” says President and controlling shareholder Vivianne Gravel.

This new technology will expedite the travel experience at the airport for passengers by using a single document.

LIPSO was founded in 2000 and currently has a the major wireless operators Rogers, Bell and Telus as their premier clients. “A lot of operators like the idea of bar code technology, but there’s still work to be done.” says Gravel.
