Amazon Canada has launched another tech vertical today with its new Wearables Portal.
The portal features wearables in a variety of categories, from health and wellness to fitness tracking bands, cameras, smartwatches, golf watches, hiking watches and kids wearables.
The company is promoting a number of big brands, including Fitbit and Jawbone, whose own fitness trackers have been a growing intensity of competition, and GoPro’s Hero series of action cameras.
You won’t find much in the way of Android Wear on the site: Amazon is selling only the Moto 360, but it does offer all four colour and straps.
To promote the launch, and to encourage people to Buy Now, Amazon is giving a $10 credit to most wearable purchases. Note, this isn’t a discount but a $10 credit towards another purchase.
