Dropbox for iOS has never lacked for features, but one way in which the Android app was superior happened to be a killer feature: automatic photo and video uploads. Now this was likely due to the ability for Android apps to perform tasks in the background, but Dropbox has added the feature to iOS anyway despite the restriction.
You will be able to upload photos and video from your Gallery as long as the app is open (or ten minutes thereafter) over WiFi or 3G. You’re also going to get up to 3GB free space — available in 500MB increments — for using the new feature.
Download Dropbox for iOS from iTunes.
