Capcom reveals ‘fully-featured’ Monster Hunter Outlanders for mobile

The game will feature up to four-player co-op in an open-world map

Monster Hunter Outlanders

Capcom has unveiled a new game in its massively popular Monster Hunter series called Monster Hunter Outlanders.

Developed alongside Timi Studio Group (Call of Duty Mobile), the game is said to be a “fully-featured” monster-hunting adventure set in an open-world map. The game will be playable solo or in hunting parties of up to four players.

Notably, this is a more direct adaptation of the traditional Monster Hunter experience compared to Monster Hunter Now, a Pokémon Go-esque mobile game from Niantic.

Capcom and Timi haven’t yet revealed a launch date for Outlanders, although they’ve confirmed that several play tests will be conducted in advance. For updates on the game, including opportunities to sign up for future play tests, the companies are directing fans to check its website and follow the official social media accounts.
