LG, Razer, and MediaTek have developed a new Bluetooth gaming controller. This new controller offers reduced input lag for cloud-based gaming, as it’s reportedly the first controller to use Ultra-Low Latency (ULL) Bluetooth technology, which should make wireless controllers as responsive as wired ones.
At the webOS summit, LG and Razer tested this new controller against a standard controller. According to the LG Newsroom release, “the demonstration highlighted the superior responsiveness, reduced input lag, and control precision of the BT ULL technology across various cloud-based games, including FPS, fighting, and racing titles.”
LG says that the technology offers the perfect cloud gaming performance for those who need lightning-fast response times.
MediaTek, on the other hand, will have its Wi-Fi “MT7921” chipset integrated into the controller.
This controller will help LG WebOS smart TV owners play online multiplayer cloud games with their TVs.
