QueerTech brings annual QT conference to Toronto from Nov. 6-7

The hybrid event will take place at the Evergreen Brick Works

QueerTech has announced its third annual ‘QT Qonference,’ an event designed to bring business professionals, entrepreneurs, and critical ecosystem players who are allies or part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ tech community.

This hybrid event will occur from November 6 to 7 at the Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto. If you can’t make it, there’s also a virtual option.

This year’s theme, ‘Queering Up: Expanding Your Mindset to Become Future-Ready,’ will invite participants to go against conventional thinking and allow attendees to embrace their own skills and identities in the workplace.

Who should attend:

  • Early-stage career professionals (0-3 years of experience in the sector).
  • Technology leaders (3+ years of experience).
  • Entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+ and operate in the tech sector.
  • Students or those looking to transition their career to tech.
  • Tech Companies.
  • Investors & Funders.
  • Service Providers.
  • Government Agencies.
  • Tech & Community Organizations.

Attendees can also participate in facilitated workshops, expert-led panels, inspirational keynotes, and leadership development — and I’ll be there if you want to say hi 👋🏾.

“Our event theme this year reflects our commitment to equipping the 2SLGBTQIA+ community with the tools and perspectives necessary to thrive in a rapidly changing world. We are endlessly proud of our community, and consider it a privilege to offer the queer tech community a platform to connect, learn, and feel a deep sense of belonging,” said Naoufel Testaouni, CEO of QueerTech. “The QT Qonference is not just an event—it’s a movement to empower our community to innovate, lead, and authentically bring their full selves to the tech industry.”

Last year’s event had more than 500 participants, so you’re strongly encouraged to secure tickets early. Tickets start at $100 CAD for students and $250 for professionals.
