Asus unveiled its Intel-driven Copilot Plus PCs at Media Day at IFA Berlin. Intel’s Core Ultra Series 2 processors power these new laptops.
These devices include the 1.2kg Zenbook S 14, which offers an Asus exclusive Ceralumium chassis. Ceralumium feels like ceramic but offers the strength of aluminum, according to the company. Meanwhile, the keyboard area features a geometric grille design. The device features the Intel Core Ultra 9 288V processor, a 3K 120Hz display, and a four-speaker sound system. There’s also AI-powered noise cancellation for when you’re taking a conference call and an FHD AiSense IR camera, which supports AI effects for video interactions. This laptop sports a long-lasting 72Wh battery as well. There’s also an enlarged 16:10 touchpad that incorporates smart features. Additionally, there’s the Zenbook S 16 with a 16-inch display for those who want a bigger screen. The S 14 is available for pre-order starting September 6th and launches on September 24th. It starts at $1,799, sporting 16GB of RAM, 1TB of storage and an Intel Core Ultra 5 226V processor. The device will be available exclusively at the Asus Store and Best Buy.
The S 16 model is coming in Q1 of 2025.
Powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor 256V and an AI engine with up to 47 NPU TOPS, Asus is also announcing the Vivobook S 14. This device has a substantial 27-hour battery and an RGB backlit ErgoSense customizable keyboard. It also has Wi-Fi 7, a 3K 120Hz display, and a Harman Kardon Dolby Atmos system. The Vivobook S 14 starts at $1,599 with the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor 256V, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB and launches in early Q4.
There’s also a Vivobook 14 and 16 Flip 4. Both offer a 360-degree hinge, allowing you to switch between laptop, tent, stand, and tablet modes, and they support the Asus Pen 2.0. The 14 Flip is also 1.7cm thin and weighs 1.5kg, making it a very thin and light device. It’s also powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 256V. It also sports a 14-inch FHD NanoEdge touchscreen, Dolby Atmos, Wi-Fi 7 and more. Whereas the Vivo Book 16 Flip sports a 16-inch 3K display. Unfortunately, these devices are unavailable in Canada.
Asus is also revealing a mini-PC called the Asus NUC 14 Pro AI. It sports the Intel Core Ultra 9 288V and a multi-architecture CPU, GPU, and NPU setup that can push out 120 TOPS, with the NPU itself delivering up to 48 TOPS. It also has a less than 0.6L chassis and a height of just 34mm. Pricing and availability for this device are not available tonight.
Last but not least, Asus has unveiled the ExpertBook P series laptop for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
