If you live in rural Canada and you want to upgrade to Starlink internet, now is a pretty great time to do so since both the stationary and the mobile units are on sale for $200.
Twitter user Trev Page also noticed that the mobile units are down to $199 at Costco in Nova Scotia, suggesting other Costcos in Canada might also have the discounted satellites.
The main pain point now is the monthly cost. The standard plan for most homes is $140 in Canada, while the roaming option costs $170. Both plans offer unlimited downloads.
If you live near a Costco, it might be worth picking up the unit there since the retailer has a legendary return policy, but if you need to buy one directly from Starlink, it comes with a 12-month warranty.
