OnePlus 13 might give users battery life for days

OnePluys has often had the fastest charging around and now it looks like it wants to have the biggest battery too

Leaks are starting to heat up around the OnePlus 13, and the latest one says it will have an impressively large 6,000 mAh battery.

The OnePlus 12 is already a large phone with decent battery life, and it’s packing a 5,400 mAh cell, so pushing this up to 6,000 should help users get a few more hours of battery life as long as OnePlus hasn’t significantly changed the amperage or voltages of the battery.

The OnePlus 13 leak also claims that the phone will have an incredible 50-watt wireless charging setup and 100-watt fast charging. That being said, in the past, OnePlus has had to dial down its charging speed to get safety certifications in North America, so it might not be that fast here.

That said, the OnePlus 12 already wirelessly charges at 50 watts if you have a compatible OnePlus fast wireless charger that has a fan to help keep the device cool while the power transfers. That’s not to take away from the activeness of charging this quickly, but just that it will likely only apply with specific chargers.

Other rumours suggest that the phone will have a new 50-megapixel camera sensor that still uses Sony’s next-gen LYTA tech to get really deep colours out of each image.

Overall, there isn’t much new here, but if OnePlus does decided to put the larger battery in the 13 it should help OnePlus dominate battery life and charging tech in North America.
