Google’s Pixel 6 and 6 Pro are finally available in Canada. The phones cost $799 and $1,179 in Canada respectively. If you didn’t already pre-order the devices, you can now buy them (including from carriers!).

Freedom Mobile

Bell
Bell has finally added pricing for the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro to its website after effectively skipping the pre-order period.
- Pixel 6: $0 down, $28.30/mo device financing for 24 months with Device Return Option (outright: $936)
- Pixel 6 Pro: $0 down, $39.12/mo device financing for 24 months with Device Return Option (outright: $1,381)
Rogers
- Pixel 6: $0 down, $28.29/mo financing (regular $34/mo) with Upfront Edge (outright price: $936)
- Pixel 6 Pro: $0 down, $39.13/mo financing (regular $47.55/mo) with Upfront Edge (outright price: $1,381)
Upfront Edge is Rogers’ version of a bring-it-back program — customers who use Upfront Edge get a discount on the cost of the phone if they agree to return it after two years.
Rogers includes some benefits for those who choose to order the Pixel 6 or 6 Pro from them. First, Rogers is offering three free months of Google One “just for being a Rogers customer.”
Additionally, both phones have a slight ‘discount’ applied to the financing cost. The Pixel 6 has a $5.71/mo discount, while the 6 Pro has an $8.42/mo discount. If you take the monthly cost and factor in the Upfront Edge cost, however, you’ll actually end up paying the same for the phone as you would getting it directly from Google:
Pixel 6: $28.29 x 24 months + Upfront Edge ($120) = $798.96
Pixel 6 Pro: $39.13 x 24 months + Upfront Edge ($240) = $1,179.12
Fido
- Pixel 6: $0 down, $33.29/mo financing (normally $39/mo, outright price: $936)
- Pixel 6 Pro: $379 down, $33.34/mo financing (normally $41.75.mo, outright price: $1,381)
Like its parent brand Rogers, Fido has slight discounts on the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro ($5.71/mo and $8.41/mo respectively). Once again, these discounted prices simply make financing the phones costs the same as buying them from Google. With the Pixel 6, $33.29/mo over 24 months equals $798.96, while for the 6 Pro, $33.34/mo over 24 months is $800.16, and the $379 upfront cost makes the total $1,179.16.
Virgin Plus
Like its parent company Bell, Virgin effectively skipped the pre-order period for the Pixel 6 series and has only just added pricing for the phones to its website:
- Pixel 6: $0 down, $33.30/mo financing for 24 months (outright: $936)
- Pixel 6 Pro: $379 down, $33.34/mo financing for 24 months (outright: $1,381)
Vidéotron
- Pixel 6: $0 down, $33.25/mo on minimum $50/mo plan (outright: $798)
- Pixel 6 Pro: $0 down, $49.25/mo on minimum $50/mo plan (outright: $1,182)
