The SNES Classic Edition will be available tonight with Best Buy Canada through the electronic retailer’s website.
“Limited quantities” of the $99 CAD miniature retro console will go live today on BestBuy.ca at 3pm PT/6pm ET.
It’s important to note that the system is constantly difficult to find, selling out within minutes whenever it’s restocked. Therefore, those interested in buying one are advised to login/create a Best Buy account in advance and ensure payment and shipping information is up to date. This will save precious time during the checkout process.
The SNES Classic is a smaller version of the home console that originally released in Japan in 1990. The system comes pre-installed with 21 classic 16-bit era games, including The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Mario World, Final Fantasy III (originally released as Final Fantasy VI in Japan) and the previously unreleased Star Fox 2.
