Virgin Mobile Canada has announced that its current director of marketing Floyd Rocha has been appointed as the company’s new managing director.
Rocha spent the last five years overseeing various marketing campaigns as Virgin Mobile’s marketing director. In his new position, Rocha will also be responsible for managing the relationship between Virgin Mobile Canada and the global Virgin management team.
Rocha has previously served as director of marketing at Bell Mobility and has over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
Virgin Mobile Canada also announced that Jennifer Posnikoff will join the company as the new brand and communications director. She will lead the digital, social, merchandising and advertising teams to help promote the Virgin Mobile brand across Canada.
Posnikoff previously held the position of director of advertising and web for Bell Mobility, with past positions including helping Workopolis on its rebrand and working in marketing communications with Telus. Altogether, Posnikoff has over 10 years of experience in telecommunications.
