Google’s new Android 7.1-powered smartphones are blazing a new trail for the company, but the cost of these new devices caught many by surprise. Pixel pricing starts at $899 for the Pixel and $1,049 for the Pixel XL, with the phone also being available on contract through several Canadian carriers.
