Apple is expected to unveil its second generation Watch in the coming weeks, possibly during the company’s upcoming iPhone 7 announcement.
While the Apple Watch 2 will not support LTE connectivity according to reports, there are rumours of the wearable dramatically increasing its battery size.
An image has shown up on Weibo the might reveal the Apple Watch 2 42mm model battery technical specifications, which shows a larger 334 mAh lithium-ion battery. If true, this is an increase from the 246mAh battery currently found in the Watch and represents a 35.7 percent larger battery.
Apple Watch 2 is also tipped to include a faster processor, GPS, barometer, waterproof, and have a thinner display.
The Apple Watch was announced April 10th, 2015, with an official release on April 24th in Canada. The next-gen wearable announcement could happen this September but will probably follow suit with a general release the later in 2016.
