DuckTales: Remastered, one of the better 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment remakes released in the last few years, is on sale right now in the iOS app store. The game is currently priced at $1.10 on the Canadian iTunes App Store — normally, the game is priced at around $9.99.
The game’s developers, WayFord Technologies and Capcom, took the original DuckTales, released in 1989 for the Nintendo Entertainment System, and updated the game with modern visuals. Specific sections of certain changes have also been slightly altered.
For the time being, there isn’t a similar deal on Android. Amazon’s Underground store, which needs to be side-loaded due to the Play Store’s restrictions, currently has DuckTales: Remastered listed for free, but only in the U.S. That said, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, another excellent game, is on sale for $2.99 in the Amazon Underground Android store right now.
DuckTales: Remastered is also available for Windows Phone.
