Existing customers of Public Mobile, now owned by TELUS, can now purchase the entry-level Huawei Ascend Y330, one of two devices the carrier is releasing this month (the other being the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini). Originally priced at $150, the Y330 has since dropped to a respectable $69 outright.
The Ascend Y330 is nothing special from a design perspective, nor is it screaming the latest specs, but this comes running Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with a 4-inch 854×480 pixel display, a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, and a 3MP camera.
