Apple releases iOS 8 beta 3 to developers

Apple has released the third beta of iOS 8 to developers in the run-up to its public release this fall.

While the first couple of betas usually contain many bugs and missing features, Apple tends to hone in on the major issues by the third release, so this one should be safer to install for “average” users than the previous two. Apple still doesn’t recommend installing betas on daily driver devices — and we agree — but we’re hearing this one is pretty usable.

If you’re a registered Apple developer, head over to the Developer Portal and get downloading.
