The good news is that Android 4.4 KitKat is on the rise and now accounts for 8.5%, up from 5.3% last month. This could be a direct results from all the manufacturer and carrier updates that have been pushed through, or possibly people buying new devices like the HTC One M8 or Galaxy S5. Jelly Bean is still incredibly high on the list at 60.8% of all Android devices, slightly down from 61.4% in April. Hanging on ever so delicately at 1% is Froyo, which was unleashed back in 2010.
