We know that HTC is set to unveil a new phone today, the all-new HTC One if rumours are correct, but the company let out a few of its secrets in the form of new apps available on the Play Store.
Like Motorola and Sony before it, HTC will untether some of its app updates from the core Android framework, making it easier to add features and fix bugs. Already available on the Play Store are HTC BlinkFeed, which is the new app launcher; SenseTV, an updated remote control app; Service Pack, a set of frameworks; HTC Guide, a troubleshooting portal; and Gallery, the updated photo viewing app.
Fitbit also updated its app to work with the all-new HTC One, which is convenient. Obviously, the Sense 6.0-based apps are not going to be compatible with the original HTC One until itself receives an update, but we’re digging the new flat UI look.
