A couple weeks ago we let you know that Bell was going to release the HTC Desire 601. Since then it’s been revealed that this entry-level Android will also make an appearance on several other Canadian carriers, including Rogers, Fido and Koodo Mobile.
Rogers will be making the Desire 601 available on November 4th, but we previously reported, Bell will launch the Desire 601 a few day later on November 7th. In addition, this HTC will be available at an affordable price at $299.95 outright.
The HTC Desire 601 has a 4.5 inch display (540 x 960 resolution), LTE connectivity, 1.4GHz dual-core processor, a 5MP camera that captures 1080p HD videos, a 2100 mAh battery and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and Sense 5.
Update: Virgin Mobile has just revealed that they will also release the Desire 601. No word on when, probably on the 7th like parent-company Bell. In addition, Virgin has opened up their “Tester Team” that looks for 5 eager Virgin Mobile customers to test out the device.
