Apple unveils thinner iPad Air, updated iPad mini with Retina display

  • There have been 60 billion cumulative App Store downloads
  • One million total apps in the App Store, similar to Google Play’s latest numbers
  • $13 billion has been paid out to iOS developers

  • New versions of iLife, including iMovie, iPhoto and Garageband, for iOS devices, as well as the Mac.
  • iCloud integration brings synchronizing of photo and videos between iOS and Mac devices, including slow motion video from the iPhone 5s.
  • Apple is bringing in-app purchases to Garageband
  • New iLife products will be free with the purchase of a new Mac or iOS device
