Rogers has updated its My Account app for Android and BlackBerry, both for legacy and BB10 devices, bringing support for the company’s new First Rewards program.
Eligible users can check the latest offers and browse the entire catalogue of Rogers-exclusive offers, and check current points balances.
The Android version has also been revamped, with better performance and a left-side navigation bar. In all seriousness, though the app is still largely a browser window, this is the first time I can declare My Account to be a good app, though the lack of an iOS update is disappointing. The iOS version hasn’t been updated since mid-2011, and still doesn’t support 4-inch displays on the iPhone 5, 5c and 5s.
The Android version now requires Android 4.0 ICS to run, but most Rogers-based devices should be up there by now.
