Firefox for Android beta adds guest browsing mode

Firefox continues to compete with Opera and Chrome, and to some extent Dolphin, for the Android browser king. Sure, Chrome comes preinstalled on a number of newer devices, but Firefox continues to be the go-to for those with slower and cheaper devices.

The newer beta build adds something that many users are going to appreciate: a guest mode for handing over your device without allowing access to individual settings, add-ons, history, bookmarks and more.

Also included are new security measures, which adds “Mixed content blocking to protect users from man-in-the-middle attacks and eavesdroppers on HTTPS pages.”
