This year, Asus is revamping its entire product lineup, and at the top of its list is the new Transformer Pad Infinity.
The tablet/laptop has been updated with a 10.1-inch 2560×1600 touchscreen, a quad-core Tegra 4 processor clocked at 1.9Ghz, 2GB RAM, 5MP rear camera and 1.3MP front camera, 32GB internal storage (with a microSD slot), dual-band WiFi with Miracast support, HDMI out and, sadly, Bluetooth 3.0.
Asus is also well known for its superlative build quality, and the updated Infinity continues that trend with a brushed aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass 3, and the updated keyboard dock has a larger battery and improved aesthetics.
The tablet will launch for an estimated $399 on its own and $499 with the bundled keyboard dock. No word on software but you can bet it will be running stock Android 4.2 at launch and be updated to newer versions with unprecedented speed.
