This sign in Barcelona at Mobile World Congress sure points towards Samsung announcing the rumoured Galaxy Note 10.1.
Back in September 2011 when Samsung originally unveiled the Galaxy Note 5.3-inch – the one that Bell, Rogers and TELUS just released it here in Canada – they stated in a press release that “The GALAXY Note is a new category of product, developed through Samsung’s deep consumer understanding and insight. It integrates core on-the-go benefits of various mobile devices while maintaining smartphone portability, to create a whole new user experience”.
The complete specs are still unknown of the Note 10.1, but it will obviously have a 10.1-inch display and have the features of the S Pen. In addition, no word if the 10.1-inch Note will be 4G LTE or what Android OS it’ll be running (hopefully Ice Cream Sandwich). It’ll be interesting to see how Samsung positions the Note 10.1 – will it be a massive smartphone of sorts, or will it simply be a Samsung Galaxy Tab with the S Pen features. You can expect an official announcement soon.
